The Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology offers various academic programs including Fisheries Technology, Marine Science, Environmental Science, General Education, and Technology. Later, the Technology program intends to separate its educational activities from the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology, becoming an internal division within the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya under the name “Faculty of Engineering and Technology”. This aims to manage educational activities in the field of Engineering and Technology with a purpose
- 1. The objective is to manage teaching and produce students at the levels of professional certificate, bachelor’s degree, and graduate diploma in engineering and engineering technology. This is aimed at providing knowledge, skills, and expertise to serve society and meet the demand for professionals in related fields, both in the public and private sectors.
- 2. The aim is to develop knowledge and research in areas related to the management of teaching within the faculty, fostering knowledge, innovation, and technology, as well as facilitating the transfer of relevant knowledge.
- 3. To provide professional services in the fields of engineering and engineering technology to both the public and private sectors.
- 4. To become an exemplary organization in the conservation, preservation, and creative development of religion, arts and culture, and the environment.
The project to establish the Faculty of Engineering and Technology has been approved following deliberations and a favorable vote during the Academic Council meeting of the University of Technology Rajamangala Sri Vijaya, Trang Campus, Session 4/2014 on June 2, 2014. It was subsequently presented to the University Council and approved during the University Council meeting of the University of Technology Rajamangala Sri Vijaya, Session 5/2014 on June 27, 2014. The establishment of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology as an internal department of the University of Technology Rajamangala a Sri Vijaya, Trang Campus, was approved during the University Council meeting, Session 1557-7/2017 on July 21, 2017.
The history of educational management
- In 1999 A.D., the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology at the Rajamangala Institute of Technology began offering the Bachelor of Science program in Aquaculture and Fisheries Engineering.
- In 2001 A.D. , the Faculty of Science at the Rajamangala Institute of Technology began offering the Bachelor of Science program in Computer Technology.
- In 2007 A.D., the Faculty of Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya began offering the Bachelor of Industrial Technology Program in Computer Technology.
- In 2007 A.D., the Faculty of Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya began offering the Bachelor of Industrial Technology Program in Telecommunication Technology.
- In 2008 A.D., the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya began offering the Bachelor of Science program in Industrial Technology.
- In 2008 A.D., the Faculty of Science and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya began offering the Bachelor of Science program in Information Technology.
In 2010 A.D., the Faculty of Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya began offering the Bachelor of Engineering program in Electronics Engineering. - In 2011 A.D., the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya began offering the Bachelor of Technology program in Industrial Technology.
